Jewel Runaway Bay – Pure Gold

I recently returned from a fantastic family holiday at Jewel Runaway Bay, Jamaica. Feeling rather poetic, after a relaxing week on the beach, I sourced this lovely quote:

As I wandered through the hotel and listened to all the British, French, Italian accents there were moments where I wasn’t thinking about the ADR, pace of room nights, flash sales, 2016 contracting… but proud of our achievements, and helping significantly to help achieve the 90% hotel occupancy it currently holds.

Jewel Runaway Bay is singing right now and rightly so – my children (from what I saw of them - they we so busy participating in all the kids activities) had a ‘beast’ time. I have since learned means ‘awesome’! They didn’t stop… sailing, football, tennis, water polo, archery, snorkeling, bare foot cricket, laser tag (day and night!)

The entertainment staff were simply incredible - as my boys would say: ‘big shout out to’ Purple, Sparkle, Urkle, Da Voice, there were so many more, I just couldn’t keep up with all the names!

As for the new water park – I speak from experience - it’s FANTASIC! If you’re into thrills, try the red slide, it is super-fast and scary!

The food in all the restaurants are just fabulous, and the Platinum Restaurant a particular favorite with the family. It’s an experience just to enter the room! All the courses are presented in a very special way, depending on what you’ve ordered. You definitely won’t go hungry at Jewel Runaway Bay!
